Kelly is a Masters qualified Continence and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who has always had a passion for women’s and pelvic health stemming from her own diagnosis and experience with endometriosis. Her vision is to empower her patients to take charge of their pelvic health and manage a range of conditions in a holistic model of care. Because of this, Kelly enjoys working within a multi-disciplinary team of GP’s, gynaecologists, dieticians, obstetricians, psychologists and midwives.
Kelly enjoys treating a range of pelvic health concerns including:
- Endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain
- Vaginismus: pain with intercourse / tampons
- Pregnancy and post-partum care (birth preparation, acute post-partum recovery, pelvic girdle pain, abdominal separation)
- Urinary and faecal incontinence
- Vaginal prolapse (including pessary fittings)
- Pre and post hysterectomy guidance
- Assessment pre and post Emsella chair program
Qualifications:
- BSc Physiotherapy
- MSc Clinical Physiotherapy (Major in Continence and Pelvic Health) with research undertaken on gynaecological MESH procedures at King Edwards Hospital
- Member of : Women’s Health Training Associates (WHTA); APA Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Group; Member of ICS
- WHTA Advanced Prolapse and Stress Urinary Incontinence Training (including pessary fittings)
- WHTA Advanced Birth Choices
- PhysioSkills Advanced Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain
- APA Dry Needling Level 1
- Qualified and over 10 years experience in mat and reformer Pilates
