Where is Soleil Health Medical Centre located?

You’ll find us at Shop 3/40 Marine Parade, Cottesloe, WA 6011, right by the beach. We’re located next to Gibney and Linton & Kay Galleries.

What are your opening hours?

We’re open Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.

How do I book an appointment at Soleil Health Medical Centre?

Call our reception team on 08 6388 4442 or visit us in person during clinic hours. Alternatively, you can book online here.

Are you bulk billed or private billing?

We operate as a private billing centre. Payment is required at the time of consultation, with Medicare rebates (if applicable) applied afterwards. See our fees.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please provide at least one hour’s notice for cancellations. A $50 fee applies for missed appointments and must be paid before rebooking.

Is there parking or public transport access?

Yes, there’s free parking on Marine Parade, Gibney St, or Warton St. The nearest train station is Mosman Park, with bus stops within walking distance.

Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?

Yes, Soleil Health provides wheelchair access throughout the facility.

Do I need to book an appointment, or can I walk in?

Both! We offer same-day and walk-in appointments with our GPs, and you can also book online. To make an appointment, download the HotDoc or HealthEngine apps on Apple or Google Play. For specialist appointments, please ensure you have a valid referral from your doctor before calling for an appointment.

What Services does Soleil Health Medical Centre provide?

Soleil Health Medical Centre offers a comprehensive range of medical services designed to support your health at every stage of life. Our integrated medical centre brings together experienced GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals to deliver seamless, high-quality care under one roof.

If I have a cough, cold, flu, or fever, can I come into the medical centre?

Please inform reception if you have any of the above symptoms.

You will need to take a RAT test, 30 minutes before your visit. If your RAT test result is negative, please come into the surgery for an appointment and bring your RAT test result with you. A mask will be provided if you don’t have one.

If your result is positive, please inform the receptionist, who will be able to arrange for a phone appointment.

Do you offer after-hours care?

Soleil Health Medical Centre does not provide after-hours services directly. The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 am - 5.00 pm. If you require medical care outside of our opening hours, please contact:

Do I need a referral to see a specialist?

Yes, a valid referral from your GP is required to access specialist services. This supports continuity of care and ensures Medicare eligibility where applicable. Many of our specialists consult onsite, allowing for faster access, streamlined communication, and a more coordinated healthcare experience, making your health journey seamless and less stressful.

Can I request a telephone consultation?

Yes, telephone appointments are available for eligible services. Please speak to our reception team on 08 6388 4442 to see if your consultation qualifies.

How long are the appointments?
  • Standard appointments: 15 minutes
  • Long appointments: 15-30 minutes
  • Prolonged appointments: more than 30 minutes

Please advise reception or book online accordingly if you need a longer appointment.

Can I get a medical certificate without seeing a doctor?

To obtain a medical certificate, it is necessary to schedule an appointment with a doctor, either by phone or face-to-face. A medical certificate is a legal document that verifies your medical condition. Please note that medical certificates cannot be backdated.

How do I provide feedback?

Can I request a repeat prescription without seeing a doctor?

For all prescription renewals and specialist referrals, we kindly ask patients to book an appointment. This allows your doctor to review your current health status and ensure any medication or referral remains appropriate and effective for your needs.

To renew a specialist referral, a clinical assessment is required so your doctor can confirm that the referral accurately reflects your present condition and reason for specialist care.

If you're an existing patient of Soleil Health Medical Centre, this may be arranged via phone consultation, subject to your doctor’s discretion. Please note that standard consultation fees apply for telehealth services.

How can I transfer my medical records to Soleil Health Medical Centre?

Transfer of Records forms are available at reception. Please complete the form, and it will be sent to your previous medical practice. Your previous Medical Practice may charge a fee and may not release records until the fee is paid.

Is there a pathology collection centre at Soleil Health Medical Centre, and when is it open?

There is a pathology collection centre onsite, staffed by Clinipath. It is open 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, please drop samples off at reception.
